When I went to university in Tokyo about 40 years ago, I was often asked, "What do people in Kagawa eat?

I was often asked, "What do people in Kagawa eat?

I thought, "Of course they eat the same food, since we are in the same country!

I thought, “Of course they eat the same things as everyone else in Japan,” but I guess I looked like a country bumpkin.



Thanks to the Setouchi Art Festival, the scenery of the Seto Inland Sea has become famous, and Kagawa Prefecture seems to be gradually gaining recognition for its beauty.

However, it is the islands of the Seto Inland Sea that play the leading role in the Setouchi Art Triennale.



What I would like you all to know is that there is more to Kagawa than just its islands.

Please come to Aji Town and see for yourself!

It was chosen as the filming location for the movie "Shouting Love in the Center of the World.



The scenery seems to be the same as anywhere else in Japan, but there is an emotion that is unique to Aji Town.

Enjoy the Setouchi Art Festival not only with the art on the islands, but also by all means at the Aji Minato Bansho, a traditional old house in Kagawa Prefecture.
